Are Dvd Players Allowed On Carnival Cruise Ships

Can I Bring a DVD Player on a Carnival Cruise?

Are DVD players allowed on Carnival Cruise ships?

No, DVD players are not allowed on Carnival Cruise ships.

This is because the TV channels available for watching in your stateroom may vary as Carnival is only able to get certain channels in certain areas. Additionally, the rooms do not have DVD players and if the TV does have inputs, they will be disabled like at a hotel so a DVD player cannot be hooked up.

However, you can certainly bring along a portable DVD player. You can also bring DVDs, but you will not be able to hook the DVD player up to the TV. You can also rent DVD players from the Fun Shops on board the ship.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when bringing a DVD player on a Carnival Cruise:

  • Make sure the DVD player is small and portable.
  • Bring plenty of DVDs to keep you entertained.
  • Be sure to have headphones so you don't disturb other guests.
